A loan helped to buy cattle and strengthen his production in Puquina.

Elmar Elias's story

Elmar is 43 years old and lives in Puquina, an area in the south of Peru where the cattle industry is an essential part of families lives. He is a separated father of three, he has assumed the responsibility of sustaining them with daily strength, earning a living through raising cattle and the production of lactose that supplies the community.

His goal is to grow this activity by buying another cow. With the financial help that he requests, he will be able to widen his production, assuring more income and giving more stability to his home. Every new animal represents the opportunity to improve the life of his children and maintaining his job which gives him a daily purpose.

Helping Elmar means supporting a father who, despite personal difficulties, continues fighting with determination for the future of his family. With your help, he will be able to strengthen his cattle production and demonstrate the perseverance in the Andean countryside that translates in progress and hope.
