A loan helped to buy fish to raise and sell.

Ngoan's story

Standing in the photo is Ngoan, a married Thai woman with three children. She lives in a mountainous commune of Vietnam. As her main economic activity, she is involved in rice cultivation and increasing her headcount of livestock, which includes chickens, ducks and fish.

With the loan received, she will purchase more fish, as that is the livestock she has the most experience raising and makes the largest profit from selling.

In the future, if the business is stable and creates positive value, she will use the profits to cover tuition fees for her children and also improve the living standards of her family by repairing her house. She would like to express her thanks to the lenders for this valuable support.

This loan is special because:

It provides financial and other support to families living in vulnerable communities.
