Zoraida is recognised by her friends and neighbours for being a respectful, straightforward and friendly person. She lives with her son in a typical villa style home that her husband built before he died. When she became a widow at such a young age she had great difficulty finding emotional and finanancial stability. However with her faith in God and the support of her family she successfully found her way.
In order to safeguard her sons development she started a business selling clothing, cosmetics and natural products to order. This way she can be with her son and help him with his homework in the afternoon. She only works in the morning whilst he is at school. Zoraida has to work with two sources of funds because she sells some of her products on credit to known and trusted clients. She also needs a new cash injection and is applying for a Kiva loan that will allow her to stock more merchandise. In the future she would like to have a shop to sell household goods and stationery. This would bring her closer to her dream of having a piece of land and a vehicle to provide her son with an inheritance.
