A loan helped to buy school uniforms for children.

Ruhshona's story

This is Ruhshona, from the town of Vahdat. She is 41 years old and a devoted mother of three children. For the past three years, Ruhshona has been working as a seamstress — sewing and tailoring dresses with care and skill to support her family.

Her husband is currently working in Russia as a labor migrant, sending money when he can. But with rising expenses and the responsibilities of raising children on her own, Ruhshona carries much of the daily burden.

As the new school year approaches, Ruhshona is doing everything she can to prepare her children — ensuring they have school uniforms and supplies like their peers. However, her modest income from sewing is not enough to meet all these needs.
