A loan helped to buy a tool for work.

Jose Christian's story

José is a young aquaculturist with knowledge inherited from his grandparents and parents. Since he was 10 years old, he went out with them with his nets to collect shellfish and fresh fish from the seas and mangroves of the area, so José has more than 10 years of experience in the collection and commercialization of shell, fish, shellfish, and now that he is doing it on his own he seeks to have his own boat and work tool. For this reason he requests a loan from the Kiva organization.

Sure of fulfilling responsibility and punctuality with his payments, José's goal is to build his own house where he can live with his partner and his son in addition to establishing a business for his partner so that she can support him with the household payments.
