Rosa Flor's story

Rosa Flor, 62, is divorced and has two adult children. They live in the parish of Ricaurte in the Chone canton, a place whose agriculture is the best with hardworking people dedicated to their country life and raising animals.

She is a very hardworking woman who strives to earn an income to cover her own costs. Even though life on the farm is very difficult because of a lack of resources, she strives to get ahead and raises pigs. She has reproductive sows who receive artificial insemination to improve production. Once the piglets are born they are raised to the proper weight and sold to merchants visiting the area.

This loan will be used to by embryos, animal feed and medicines for her pigs.
