Haja Fatmata's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 34-year-old Haja Fatmata from Lunsar town branch. She is a married businesswoman with two children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years old and one is currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.

Haja Fatamata runs a retail business and sells cosmetics to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 10 years. She says that her challenges are the increase in prices of goods and transportation.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cosmetics items like body creams, sprays, and baby oil to increase her business. Haja Fatmata says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family.

In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
