Ana Patricia's story

Ana, age 38, lives with her family in a rural areas. She has been able to combine household chores with raising pigs. Financial support has been very important because it has permitted her to educate her two older children. Now she hopes to provide an education for her youngest child.

In addition to her business, Ana supports her husband in the mechanic's shop he has in the city. However, her objective is to continue promoting her pig raising because it is what she does best. With the support of a new loan, she will be able to improve the pigsty infrastructure and to add more pigs to ensure a stable source of income.
