A loan helped to buy herring, fish, shrimp and other seafood.

Amada Bienvenida's story

Amada Bienvenida and her family live in Los Arenales. It is known for its beautiful beaches and hardworking people dedicated to fishing.

Amanda is a hardworking woman who, despite her advanced age, looks for ways to earn a living and move forward on her own. Together with one of her sons, she is involved in the buying and selling of seafood. They buy small fish such as herring, which they deliver to companies that produce sardines in Manta. They also buy larger fish and shrimp, which they sell to local neighbors or take to other cities where there is demand.

Despite the challenges she faces, Amada continues to move forward, thanks in large part to the support of loans, for which she is very grateful. She asks that you continue helping her. This loan will be used to buy herring, fish, shrimp, and other seafood.
