The San Roque Women’s Committee is located in the Yacarey community of the city of Piribebuy, 65 kilometers from Asunción. It is currently in its 23rd loan cycle within the women’s committee program, which reflects the commitment, unity, and perseverance of its members. Over time, these women have built a strong and supportive group where each member works not only to improve her own economic situation but also that of her family and community.
Luz Antonia is one of the women who form part of this story of collective effort. She lives with her family and works selling food, a job she carries out with dedication and care. Since starting her business she has faced challenges, but has managed to overcome them thanks to her persistence and vision for the future. With this loan, she has decided to invest in buying supplies in bulk for the preparation of her products, aiming to reduce costs and increase profits.
Luz's goal is to continue growing, always offer the best to her customers, and provide a more dignified life for her loved ones. She is deeply grateful to Kiva and the Fundación Paraguaya for giving her this opportunity, which means much more than just a loan: it is a boost to keep believing in herself and striving each day with renewed strength.
