A loan helped to buy supplies and raw materials needed to produce bricks.

Fitahiana's story

Fitahiana is 23 years old. She lives with her partner and is mother to two children. The family live in a family home in a rural village.

For five years, she has been producing bricks. Alongside this, she also does daily work to diversify her income sources.

Her partner is a mason; they support one another to provide for the needs of their household.

Fitahiana would like to develop her business and has decided to request a loan from Vahatra. She is asking for the loan to pay for supplies and raw materials needed to produce bricks. Once the bricks are made, she will sell them directly from her production site. Her profits will be reinvested in her business to grow her capital.

In the long term, Fitahiana would like to build a house to provide a better standard of living for her family.
