Juan Bautista Lovera Group's story

The 22 members of this group support one another. Together, their goal is to improve their living conditions and help their loved ones so they never lack anything. They are also part of a poverty alleviation program, united in their effort to help each other and move forward together.

Luisa is a hardworking woman who earns income by making and selling chipas, a traditional Paraguayan food enjoyed year-round. Every day, Luisa starts her work early in the morning, preparing chipas and then selling them door-to-door. She wants to continue growing and improving her business and in this way keep supporting her family’s livelihood.

She is requesting this loan to buy raw materials to keep making her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, lard, meat, and other items.
