Tizaa Buni Group's story

The Tizza Buni Farmer Group comprises of 32 hardworking women and men from the Kpabugu Community in Ghana’s North East Region. Despite limited access to capital and farm inputs, they remain committed to cultivating cereals and legumes to support their families.

Each member farms about 0.5 hectares annually. With improved inputs and mechanization, they believe they can greatly increase yields and income.

Dominica, the group leader and a mother of three, plays a vital role in guiding and motivating the team.

This Kiva loan will provide each member with ¢620 GH to invest in quality seeds, farm inputs, and tractor services. Your support will empower these women to improve productivity, strengthen food security, and build a better future for their households and community.
