A loan helped to buy acacia trees.

Thìn's story

Ms. Thìn is 49 years old. Although married, she currently lives alone with her two children in Thường Xuân District. Her eldest child, 22, is attending university far from home, while her youngest, 16, is in 10th grade. Aware of the family’s hardships, her children study hard to support their mother’s efforts.

Ms. Thìn is the sole breadwinner in the family, working at a local grocery store with a modest monthly income of around $248. This classifies her household as low-income in the local area. Hoping to earn a more stable income, she decided to take her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to invest in acacia tree planting. The loan will help cover the cost of seedlings and organic fertilizer, offering her a potential long-term source of income.

Ms. Thìn hopes her children will continue to excel in school. She dreams of earning enough to support their education and eventually build a better home for the family.
