A loan helped to purchase more ingredients that will be used to cook food to sell.

Nunu's story

Nunu is a 32-year-old businesswoman and she is married and has 2 children.

She attended school up the 12th grade and she successfully manages a business where she sells cooked food.

She learned her trade from her father. Nunu has become skilled in her craft and faces no challenges in running her business. To transport her goods, she uses a car or kehkeh, ensuring smooth delivery to her sales sites. She works diligently from Monday to Saturday.

Recently, Nunu applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia, which she intends to use to purchase more ingredients that will be used to cook food to sell to serve her loyal customers.

Her ultimate dream is to increase her business. She is deeply grateful for the financial support from the funders, which will help her to elevate her business and bring her closer to achieving this goal.

With a clear vision for her future, Nunu is determined to continue thriving in her business.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
