A loan helped to purchase more clothes and slippers to sell.

Teta's story

Teta is a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Liberia. She is married and has one child. Teta completed her education up to the twelfth grade.

For the past five years, Teta has been running a small business selling clothes and slippers. She learned the trade from her mother and launched her business using her own savings. Teta operates her shop from Monday to Saturday and uses a car to transport her supplies. She has managed her sales effectively and reports no major challenges with her operations.

Teta has applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia to purchase more clothes and slippers to meet the growing needs of her customers. She is proud of her business, as it provides essential support for her family.

Looking ahead, Teta hopes to expand her business to reach international markets and to continue funding her child's education. She expresses her sincere thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their ongoing support.
