A loan helped buy more ingredients to prepare the cooked foods she sells, plus bags of rice and charcoal and other goods to sell.

Jebbeh's story

Jebbeh is 38 years old, married and has four children who live at home and go to school. She is a hardworking businesswoman who sells cooked foods she makes, bags of rice and charcoal and other goods, a livelihood she learned from her aunty. She uses a car to transport her supplies to her business site and works Monday through Saturday. She has had no problem with her sales, and sales are good.

With this loan Jebbeh will buy more ingredients to prepare the cooked foods she sells, bags of rice and charcoal, and other goods to sell.

As she started out with very few skills, Jebbeh is proud of the progress her business has made. She hopes to buy land and build a house on it in the future. She is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
