A loan helped to add stock to the business.

Ceaser's story

Ceaser is a refugee father of five children who live with him in Moyo, Uganda. All of his children attend school. Having escaped from Sudan to Uganda, he says it is a miracle that he is alive today. Ceasar is a farmer who grows millet, cassava, beans, and sorghum. Besides farming, he also runs a small retail shop that sells various goods.

At the moment, Ceasar's stock is very low. However, he tries as much as he can to sell what he has to his customers. He would like to add more stock to the business. Ceasar has many customers. Although he is currently unable to meet the customers' needs due to low stock, this has never discouraged him.

With this loan, Ceasar will be able to offer his family a better life and pay school fees. His dream is to build a permanent house. Ceasar is a very happy man today, and he can afford to smile, all courtesy of the wonderful support of VisionFund and Kiva. He is forever grateful.
