A loan helped to purchase wood to increase production of national plates.

Tolib's story

This is Tolib. He is a very well-mannered, kind, and hardworking man. Tolib is 40 years old, but despite his age he earns the money for his family himself. Tolib has produced the national wooden plates "Tabak" for more than 8 years. The people of Tajikistan really love eating off of wooden plates. On them they serve special national dishes such as "kurutob" or "shurbo" and as the older generation says, these plates make food more delicious.
Tolib wants to increase his wooden plate production, but he does not have enough money. For this purpose he is turning to Kiva lenders. Since these plates are made only from walnut wood, Tolib must stock up on this type of wood.
Tolib is a wonderful family man and the father of 3 children. Tolib's wife is a homemaker and Tolib does everything to provide for his family. Tolib really hopes for your support and expresses his gratitude in advance.
