A loan helped a member to buy yarn of various colors to continue making beautifully colored traditional blouses.

Las Margaritas Group's story

Floriselda is an enthusiastic, hardworking woman with great aspirations in life. She is 34 years old and a mother. She lives happily in the Las Flores Village, a beautiful place with kind people.

To support her family's expenses, Floriselda currently creates traditional textiles from the region. She has been working in this business, which is so important to her, for several years, as this is the only way she can earn enough to support her children.

Floriselda, like her two other group members, needs to increase their income a little more. Due to this need, they approach the Association to request a loan and invest it in the purchase of raw materials. Specifically, Floriselda's plan is to buy thread in various colors to continue making beautifully colored huipiles (traditional blouses).
