Sally's story

Sally is 56 years old and lives in the province of Iloilo. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store, selling basic commodities. She has been in this business for 25 years.

Now she asks for a loan of PHP 15,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.
