A loan helped to buy thread in various colors.

Telma Maritza's story

This is Telma, age 21. She is single and lives with her parents in the village of Chivarrabal, a place full of hardworking and kind people.

One of Telma's important activities is making "güipiles" [traditional embroidered blouses] in beautiful designs and colors. She feels empowered by this business because the profits it generates cover her personal expenses, and also help her family with household expenses.

The desire to continue progressing in her business motivates her to come to the Asociación ADICLA to request a loan to buy thread in various colors. Having this opportunity, Telma will be able to continue moving ahead in her business and to be able to seek new customers in her town.
