David Orlando is 20 years old, single, and lives with his parents. They live in the Montecristi neighbourhood of Bajo de Montecristi, known for their handicrafts made of toquilla straw, wicker, piquigua, and wood. They also make fine toquilla straw hats, recognized worldwide as "Panama Hats."
David Orlando is a hard-working young man. To help cover his parents' expenses, he and his mother and family prepare and sell roasted chickens in the afternoons and evenings. They work every day, providing the best service to their customers, who come to enjoy the roasted chickens, together by patacones [fried plantain], salad, and a portion of rice. He also works in a bakery and pastry shop, where he is paid for his day's work. He is grateful to all the people who support him in getting an income and a decent life.
This loan will be used to buy chicken, goat's cheese, vegetables, spices, rice, soft drinks, water, etc.
