Alicia is a member of the HAZAEL loan group and currently makes a living selling clothing. She previously worked as a cook but chose to start a business in retail, as it allows her to earn a good income while managing her time more effectively.
With the support of the loan group, she was able to take the first step in launching her business. Today, Alicia dreams of owning a shop where she can display her merchandise, as well as building her own home as a result of her daily efforts.
She plans to use the current loan to invest in new garments to expand her stock, including clothing sets, underwear, blouses, and activewear. This investment will allow her to offer more variety to her customers and increase her sales.
Within the loan group, other women are also running their own small businesses; some sell cosmetics, fruit, vegetables, snacks, or clothing, while others operate convenience stores, haberdasheries, or other small shops. Together, they support and strengthen one another on their journey towards personal and economic growth.
