A loan helped to buy a variety of soft drinks.

Comfort's story

Comfort is a 36-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother and children in Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo district in Ghana. With her previous Kiva loan, she expanded her business in the sale of soft drinks. She used the profit she earned to support her daily needs.

Comfort is requesting another loan to buy a variety of soft drinks. She plans to use the profit she earns to reinvest in her business.

She will repay the 'social interest' on her second loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a CAMFED Agriculture Guide, training other young women in sustainable agricultural practices.

This loan is special because:

It provides 0% interest loans to entrepreneurs that give back to their community by mentoring.
