A loan helped to buy fertilizers, foliar treatments and fungicides.

Diana Karolina's story

Diana, 24, lives with her husband and three-year-old son in a rented house. She and her husband did not finish their education but they are very hardworking people who struggle to get ahead. Her husband is a masonry officer and also works in agriculture.

Diana and her husband started working in agriculture three years ago and the cropland they farm is on loan from relatives. This business has been their recourse to compensate for the lack of work in low seasons.

Diana is applying for this loan to buy fertilizers, foliar treatments and fungicides needed for proper development of her bean crop. Her plans for the future are to continue increasing the amount of seed used each season to be able to sustain her business and educate her son.
