A loan helped to buy corn, cheese, oil, beans, toppings and other supplies for making and selling pupusas.

Leidy Esther's story

Leidy is 33 years old, single and has a dependent son who is in school. She has been making and selling "pupusas" [traditional corn cakes] for a year, learning how to do this from her mother. Her business is located 400 metres from her home and operates from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Leidy needs the loan to buy corn, cheese, oil, beans, toppings and other supplies for making and selling pupusas. She wants to continue working and provide a better quality of life for her son.
