A loan helped to buy supplies (a variety of colors and brands of threads).

Claucemia Adelina's story

Claucemia is a hard-working woman with great aspirations in life. She is 30 years old, single, and lives happily with her parents in Tecpán.

Years ago, Claucemia started her business making and weaving traditional textiles representative of her community. Claucemia feels happy with this small venture because the profits it generates are helping her family get ahead. Not only that, but with this business, Claucemia shows the women in her community that change can be achieved with effort and determination.

Holy Week is approaching, and Claucemia wants to take advantage of the time to produce more traditional textiles, especially the beautifully colored huipiles. This motivates her to apply for a loan to invest in the purchase of raw materials (threads of various colors and brands).

She is confident that with this investment, she will be able to increase her sales. She eagerly awaits this opportunity.
