She is engaged in the corn business. She has a monthly household income of INR 25,000. She is a hardworking woman who wants to improve her family’s financial status. She realizes that an increase in her and her friends' monthly income and their ability to save from it will ensure a greater level of financial independence and also it will give them an alternate means of generating wealth and becoming financially stable in society.

Since she and the other women in the group run the household, a higher standard of living will ensure better governance along with a healthier and more prosperous future for them and their families as well.

She has applied for a loan of INR 300,000 from Grameen Shakti, one of Milaap's lending partners, for the purchase of corn to expand their corn business.
