A loan helped a member to buy fabric to sell and to dye for sale.

Wango Group's story

The banc villageois was created in November 1995 and is made up of hard-working women who are active in trading. They live in the same neighborhood and get on well together.

Maguette is 74-year-old widow, mother of 3 children, 2 of whom are girls. All her children attended school. She is an active trader of traditional, high quality cloth dyed using wax. She represents the group and is on the right of the photo with her hand raised.

She will buy 50 lengths of traditional cloth, 100 lengths of getzner damask cloth, and the rest for the products that she uses for dyeing.

She sells good quality products and her strength lies in her experience of more than 20 years. She sells good quality and has been able to keep her customers loyal. They are mostly her neighbors.

The earnings will go towards paying her interests and also to strengthen her savings in the banc villageois, Another part of the earnings is used to cover her needs and strengthen her activity.
