The group "Arbol de Vida" consists of enterprising and responsible women who are committed to improving the quality of life of their families. They live in working-class neighborhoods that have regular living conditions.
Such is the case with Sra. Rosmeri. She is a 58-year-old single mother with three children. For the past year, she has been offering laundry and ironing services to other people. She renovated a small space in her home for her laundry business, which has allowed her to generate income to cover her family’s expenses.
With her portion of this loan, Rosmeri will buy soap, detergents, fabric softeners, and other needed supplies for washing clothes. She aspires to acquire larger washing machines and dryers so that she can launder more clothes.
The other group members are Elena, Blanca, Minerva, and Elvira. These women and their families are working hard to get ahead.
