Nora Del Carmen's story

Nora is 34 years old. She studied through to eight grade at school. She is in a relationship, her partner earns a living doing day labor and farming. She has two dependent children.

Nora earns a living growing corn to eat. She has about 15 years of experience and she learned this from her parents. She travels a few kilometers to get to the land she grows on and starts work at 6 am until 10 am. Her partner helps her. Besides this she works doing domestic work for individuals.

Nora needs the loan to buy fertilizer, herbicide and pay for labor to prepare the land she will grow on.

Nora dreams of having a good harvest, managing a small profit that will help her get ahead with her family.
