A loan helped to buy two medium-sized pigs and feed to feed them.

Meltine's story

Meltine is a cohabiting woman. She is 36 years old and the couple have four children together. She lives in a rural village with her family. She sells fuel on a daily basis. She has also been raising pigs for over fifteen years. Her husband does various odd jobs. She has decided to take out a loan with Vahatra to strengthen her piggery. She wants to improve the family's income. She asked the lenders to help her buy two medium-sized pigs and some feed to feed them. After fattening, she will sell the pigs to dealers in the town, and then buy more. She will save her profits and hopes to build their own house in the future.
