Yabang's story

Yabang, a 41-year-old separated mother of three ages 6 to 18, fled the war in South Sudan and arrived in Uganda in 2017. For five years she's has diligently run a produce marketing business, selling beans, cassava, rice, sorghum, millet, palm oil, and posho.

Yabang is seeking a loan to purchase more stock of sorghum, rice, and cassava flour, essential for expanding her business. This loan will significantly increase her operating capacity and income, leading to a better standard of living for her and her children.
