Bamtare Guiro Yero Bocar Group's story

Mariama, who is on the right of the photo, with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 49 years old, married and mother to ten children, four of whom are boys. She sells livestock, such as goats, which she stocks up on at the weekly markets and resells in her village. The profits she makes are used to boost her savings, repay her debts and contribute to the family's expenses.
