A loan helped to buy white chickens, free-range chickens and laying hens as well as drinking and feeding troughs.

Eva Nathaly's story

Eva is a young and hard-working dreamer. She lives with her partner and her two year-old daughter in a room they rent in the San Miguel de Bolívar area. Her partner works the fields as a day labourer while she takes care of the chickens and household chores. In this way she is able to take care of her small child and support her partner with money. Eva has been rearing and selling chickens for three years and she delivers these either alive or plucked.
Eva is seeking a loan to buy more white chickens, free-range chickens and laying hens. She also needs drinking and feeding troughs so she can keep them well-fed in sheds.
In the future, Eva wants to rear cattle. She also wants to be able to help more with the household income to improve her family’s standard of living. Eva hopes to have an opportunity to get her own home and land. She no longer wants to have to pay rent.
