A loan helped to purchase more stock of local beers.

Andree's story

Andree is an entrepreneur and father of one, living as a refugee in Mahama camp after resettling in Rwanda in 2017.

Since his arrival, Andree has been focused on finding ways to support his family. After several years of considering different business options, he decided to open a local beer bar in 2023, a business that reflects his passion and the preferences of his community.

With the small capital he had left from his journey, Andree took the leap and started his bar, specializing in local beers that are popular in the camp. Despite the challenges of starting with limited resources, his hard work and commitment have led to rapid growth in his business.

As Andree’s bar gained popularity, the demand for local beers increased significantly. His customer base has expanded, and he is now seeing a higher volume of orders than he can currently meet with his existing stock. The success of his bar has shown Andree the potential for further growth, but in order to satisfy his increasing customer demand, he needs to increase the quantity of beers available in his bar.

To meet this demand and continue expanding his business, Andree is requesting a loan. This loan will allow him to purchase more stock of local beers, ensuring that he can continue to serve his growing number of customers. With this financial support, Andree hopes to take his business to the next level, providing for his family and contributing to the local economy in Mahama camp.
