A loan helped to buy more cattle for fattening in order to increase sales.

Scovia's story

Scovia is a female Ugandan aged 45 years old from the Kiruhura district. She is a widow with four children, who are all school-going and depend on her for all their basic needs.

Scovia is a cattle keeper. She mainly earns from cattle keeping where she earns from milk and from cattle fattening. This allows her to take care of her children and pay school fees for them, but she has been facing the challenge of low milk sales.

Scovia is a repeat borrower of EBO SACCO with a good character. She applied for an agricultural loan to buy more cattle for fattening in order to increase sales and profits, hence providing for her children's school fees and all her basic needs.

Scovia wishes to have a stable source of income.
