Tesoro Group's story

The Tesoro group is comprised of enterprising, responsible women who are committed to improving the quality of life of their families. They live in low-income neighbourhoods, where the living conditions are average.

In the case of Laura, who is 42 years old, married, with 4 school-aged children; for the last six years she has been earning her living by buying and selling clothing for men, women and children. She sells to her relatives, friends and neighbours nearby. This business has enabled her to generate income to be able to contribute to her household expenses.

With the previous loan she bought more clothing to be able to offer variety to her customers.

Laura aspires to be able to establish a premises for her business, as she currently sells door-to-door.

The remainder of the group comprises Goretty, Josefina and Jesús, women who alongside their families are striving to get ahead.
