A loan helped a member to buy and sell chicken meat.

Codorniz Group's story

The "Codorniz" [Quail] group is made up of enterprising, responsible women committed to improving their quality of life. They live in working-class neighbourhoods where living conditions are average.

This is the case of Briza, she is 20 years old, single and works buying and selling chicken meat. She sells it at her home every morning. This work allows her to generate an income to support her family's expenses.

With this loan, she will buy live chickens to butcher them when necessary.

Briza hopes to expand her business in order to generate more income.

The rest of the group is made up of the following women: Alondra, Alba and Trinidad. These women, alongside their families, work hard to get ahead.

In this group: Alondra De Jesus, Alba De Jesus, Briza Asucena, Trinidad
