A loan helped to buy dry food to sell.

Ana's story

Ana is a refugee mother of four children, who all are school-going and stay with her in Yumbe. Life has not been really good for her, but things are beginning to get better.

She is a farmer who grows millet, cassava and beans. Besides farming, she also has a small home stall where she sells mainly dry foodstuff.

In the past, she could not even give her family two meals a day. But today, at least she can afford to give her family two meals a day.

She is a very positive-minded lady, and she has good customer care skills. She would like to add more stock to her business so that she will be able to boost her sales, pay school fees and offer her family a better life.

She is forever grateful for all the financial support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her.
