A loan helped to add dry fish stock.

Dodo's story

Dodo is a refugee mother to 4 children who are all school going and stay with her in Yumbe. Her life is much better today than it was before.

She is a farmer who grows millets, maize and sorghum. Besides this, she also has a small stall that mainly sells dry food stuff as well as dry fish.

The demand for food is very high and there are very many customers though the stock she has is very little. She would like to add more stock.

With the addition of more fish stock as well as other food stuff, she will be able to sell more, give her family a better life and move to the market which is busier.

She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva has given her to be a better person.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees in Uganda rebuild and sustain their livelihoods.
