A loan helped to buy chickens to fatten, concentrated feed, and waterers, to have better inventory on her farm.

Yesenia Elizabeth's story

Yesenia lives with two children, ages 9 and 14, and her in-laws. Yesenia's spouse lives abroad. For 8 years, Yesenia has had her business raising and selling poultry. She learned the work from her family. Her work hours are 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

She is requesting a loan in order to have resources to stock the inventory of her business. She will invest the borrowed funds in chickens to fatten, concentrated feed, and waterers. Thus she will have better inventory on her farm. She hopes that through the investment she will acquire more experience, and increase her sales and profits to get ahead with her family.

She aspires to have a business that is better known in the area and to stabilize her economic condition.
