Estela Yamileth's story

Estela lives with her spouse and two children, ages 3 and 6 years. She has relatives living abroad. Estela's business is growing plantains. She works from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. She learned the skill with help from her spouse, and started her own business ten years ago.

She is requesting a loan to strengthen her business. She will use the borrowed funds to buy herbicides, mulch, and fertilizers to maintain her plantain crop. Estela hopes that her plantain harvest will be more abundant. With that, she will offer her customers a quality produce and increase her profits.

Her dream is to see her business grow, to have economic stability, in order to provide an education for her children.
