Yasenta's story

Yasenta is a 61-year-old woman, and she happens to unfortunately have separated from her husband. She has one child and comes from the western part of Uganda. Her major source of income is her retail shop which helps her to acquire her basic needs, take care of her son and make ends meet.

Yasenta's business faces a major challenge of poor area security, as her business was once attacked by thugs, hence the need to acquire a loan to add more stock to boost her retail shop business.

Yasenta dreams of making house improvements and also starting a poultry farm as a side business to increase her family's earnings in the next 2 years.
