A loan helped to buy manure, fertilizers, leaf spray, disinfectants and to hire day laborers.

Diana Fernanda's story

Diana is a humble woman who lives in a rented house with her husband and two children who are of school age. She and her husband are day laborers and also grow crops on their small parcels of land.

Diana began to grow things together with her mother. The plots of land were lent to them by family members who left to live in the capital. Farming allows her to generate income and share food with family and neighbors.

She is asking for this loan so she can buy agricultural inputs and hire day laborers to fumigate and maintain the crops. Her goal is to grow more crops and generate financial stability and to then buy land for raising crops and building her own home.
