Alhaji Abass's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 37-year-old Alhaji Abass from Port Loko branch. He is a married businessman with one child aged 7 years old who is currently attending school. He started this business to care for his family.

Alhaji Abass runs a retail business and sells provisions to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past six years. Alhaji Abass says that his challenge is the increase in the cost of goods in the market.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more provisions, like sugar, milk, sweets, etc., to increase his business. Alhaji Abass says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of his family. In the future, he would like to establish to a larger scale.
