A loan helped to purchase more clothing to increase her business.

Josephine's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 36-year-old Josephine from Kissy Branch. She is married with three children between the ages of 10 and 17 years old. They are currently attending school.

Josephine sells clothing to her customers around the community. She started this business to develop herself and has been managing her sales for five years now. She says that her challenge is the increase in cost of goods and commodities in the country.

Josephine requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more clothing to increase her business. She says she will use the extra income earned through this loan to take care of her children. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale.

Josephine thanks BRAC and Kiva for their support!
