A loan helped to buy clothes to sell from her home-based retail business.

Saeda's story

Saeda is a Jordanian woman who is married and has three children to raise and take care of. Her husband is a laborer who works each day, but his income is barely enough to cover their family’s expenses. For this reason, Saeda started a productive business from home.

First, she established a good base of customers. Afterward, she will need to obtain products to sell. For this reason, she is requesting a loan of 400 JOD to buy different types of clothes in bulk so that she can sell them in her area.

Selling clothes will be a bit challenging at first, but she doesn’t plan to give up. She will keep working and remind herself of her goal of opening a clothing store in the near future.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
