A loan helped to add stock to her business of selling farm produce.

Molly's story

Molly is a refugee mother to four children all of whom are in school and stay with her in Yummbe, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda. Today she is in a much better position financially, and she is able to give her family some basic needs. She is a farmer who grows sorghum, maize and millet.

She would like to add more variety to the stock she sells in her business, which will include dry food as well as products. Since she already has very many customers, this will enable her sell more, and thus pay school fees.

Her dream is to move to the market, pay school fees and offer her family a better life. She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva has given her to be where she is today.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees in Uganda rebuild and sustain their livelihoods.
